However, the difference between knowing what to do and taking the necessary action at the right moment, under pressure are two different things.

This is where mindset comes in.

Our mission is to empower and educate tenacious and skilled athletes, actors and corporate professionals to find their mental edge to be unstoppable and to perform at their peak when it matters most.

Using her background in coaching, behaviour change and social research, coupled with a Masters in Coaching Psychology, Jessica Louise helps people master their mindset by working through their maladaptive thought patterns and beliefs and the resulting sabotaging behaviours and habits.

Over the last five years Jess has helped 100's of individuals reach their goals (sometimes in a matter of hours or weeks) in sports, acting, business, relationships and their health just by shifting their mindset blocks preventing them from achieving their goals.

COACHING


My core offering when providing 1:1 or group coaching is to help aspiring high performers understand what is holding them back so they can perform at their peak whether it be in competitions, auditions, on stage while public speaking or just day to day for productivity.

In my experience, most people who have to perform under pressure experience nerves. These nerves can be positive and performance enhancing or detrimental to performance.

When the nerves are detrimental to performance, it is crucial to use a suite of tools to understand:

>> Are beliefs, emotions or thoughts holding the person back that can be changed before the event to help achieve flow on the day?

>> Is there underlying stress that the person cannot switch off when trying to recover which is adding to their mental load?

>> Are there attention or focus issues when performing?

>> Are there problems in other areas of life such as relationships, life demands or health that are impacting performance?

>> Are they implementing high performance and recovery habits?
Are there any self-sabotaging behaviours that happen on or around the performance?

>> Does the person gain their whole identity from the performance or do they have a deeper purpose and values?

>> Is the person struggling with body image or confidence issues?

>> Are they dealing with defeats and failures that have impacted on their psyche?

>> Are they struggling to memorise, communicate or make decisions while performing?

All of these things and more will be assessed and an action plan will be created to improve performance, recovery and sustainable wellbeing.
